John A. List is an associate with Pahl & McCay practicing in the areas of Mutli-Family Housing, Fair Housing, Corporate Formations and Commercial Transactions. Mr. List advises landlords and property owners in operational and fair housing matters, including requests for accommodations under the federal Fair Housing Act and California’s Fair Employment and Housing Act. He also assists clients in purchasing and selling commercial real estate, along with buyer-side financing matters.
Mr. List received his Bachelor of Arts in German from Carnegie Mellon University in Pennsylvania. While in law school, Mr. List co-wrote an article for Plaintiff Magazine, “How to Know a Potential Class Action,” published in January of 2011, participated in honors external moot court, and served as an extern to James S. Ware, United States District Judge. In 2010, he earned his Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University School of Law. Mr. List is admitted to practice in the States of California and Washington.
